Electric Expo
Valley Forge Casino Resort Event Center
King of Prussia, PA 19406

This seminar is for anyone involved in the design, installation, maintenance or sales of commercial LED lighting.  The focus here is on controls.  The moderator, Jered E. Widmer, IALD, MIES, described the issue this way:

“There are multiple LED Control products available and no real standardization. This presents unique challenges to engineers, lighting specifiers, as well as electricians that now have to deal with the mess in the field. We’re seeing a lot of confusion on job sites as well as errors because the new control systems rarely align with the way we previously connected lighting to controls. The topic of wireless protocols is also hot. It is important to understand how this technology integrates into building infrastructure and the problems that can plague digital communication.”

In addition to the panel moderator, lighting designer Jered Widmer, the panel will consist of the following:  a controls manufacturer, an electrical contractor, and a facilities engineer and manager.  Each will make a brief presentation, followed by discussion among the panelists and the audience.  Questions will be encouraged.
