British Airways First Class Lounge

The signature color of British Airways is blue and their first-class service is elite.  TLP’s lighting for this First Class Lounge endeavors to clearly imprint both ideas on all who encounter it.   The goal was to create a distinctive presence that stands out among the regular retail storefront line of the airport concourse.  TLP made extensive use of blue LEDs to create a recognizable, intriguing and tantalizing glow through the frosted-glass storefront.  Inside, the lighting design communicates elegance and relaxation for weary travelers.  Although the spaces are contiguous, they provide a variety of experiences for lounge guests.  Dimming systems change the mood throughout the day.
