University of the Sciences in Philadelphia, McNeil Science and Technology Center
This new 77,000 SF facility supports collaboration among students and faculty on campus with researchers around the world. Featuring a large tower and curved glass atrium, the building houses USP's programs in biology, bioinformatics, math, physics, and computer science. Interior lighting makes the atrium and tower a beacon announcing this new campus gateway to global knowledge. The facility's centerpiece is a 400-seat auditorium with state-of-the-art audiovisual technology. Indirect fluorescent lighting with dimmable fluorescent downlights and wall washes are controlled by a multi-scene preset dimming system to accommodate various teaching and A/V requirements.
