Marketing Manager (Philadelphia / New York)

Our design process is collaborative and interactive, our projects are diverse and challenging. We design lighting for exterior environments and façades, public spaces, retail, corporate, academic, hospitality, and healthcare facilities.

The Marketing Manager will work closely with the marketing team and firm’s leaders. Their responsibilities include:

  • Manage and direct internal marketing team
  • Coordinate with allied team members (architects, engineers, manufacturers, etc.)
  • Coordinate with external marketing consultants (photographers, web developers, etc.)
  • Develop marketing initiatives that support the firm’s strategic plan goals, reinforcing and enhancing the TLP’s brand
  • Develop marketing plan with Principal-in-Charge of Marketing
  • Develop marketing budget with Principal-in-Charge of Marketing
  • Develop marketing policies for firm with principals’ input
  • Deliver monthly updates on marketing initiatives to principals
  • Deliver quarterly updates on marketing budget to principals
  • Manage proposal activities and oversee proposal tracking in Unanet A/E
  • Generate weekly and monthly pipeline reports (proposal tracking)
  • Support technical staff with award submissions, speaking proposals, and presentations
  • Provide marketing guidance and training to technical staff and marketing staff
  • Manage and guide the development of collateral materials, advertising and sponsorship opportunities, email marketing and social media campaigns, website maintenance, and special events

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or a related field of study
    (Business Administration, Journalism, Communications, Digital Media, or similar)
  • 4 to 7 years of marketing experience (at least 3 years in the AEC Industry)
  • Experience managing internal team
  • Strong communication skills (oral, written,and graphic presentations)
  • Self-motivated with ability to prioritize tasks
  • Detail and design-oriented
  • Good time-management skills
  • Fluent in spoken and written English

 

SOFTWARE SKILLS

Required:

  • MS Office (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Adobe Creative Cloud experience (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign)
  • Social Media platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube)

Helpful, not required:

  • Certified Professional Services Marketer (CPSM)
  • Experience managing CRM Systems
  • InFocus or Unanet A/E client and project management platform
  • Google Analytics
  • Constant Contact or a similar email marketing software
  • WordPress website platform
