Our design process is collaborative and interactive, our projects are diverse and challenging. We design lighting for exterior environments and façades, public spaces, retail, corporate, academic and healthcare facilities.

A Production Assistant will work on a variety of projects with a Project Manager and other Lighting Designers. Their responsibilities include:

  • Document lighting layouts, elevations, sections, and lighting details (2D or 3D images)
  • Coordinate, communicate, and solve problems with project team members
  • Collaborate with project team to establish documentation timelines that meet project milestones
  • Follow verbal and written instructions
  • Accurately interpret design information and execute redline mark-ups
  • Maintain knowledge of available lighting materials and current lighting standards
  • Some travel may be required

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience in Lighting Design or a related field
    (Theater Lighting, Interior Design, Architecture or Architectural Engineering)
  • Strong communication skills and a drive to learn
  • Firm understanding of mathematics, engineering, and industry information
  • Fluent in spoken and written English

 

SOFTWARE SKILLS

  • Auto CAD
  • Revit
  • Rhinoceros 3D (Rhino3D)
  • AGi32

Helpful, not required:

  • Microsoft Office or equivalent (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • SketchUp
