Lillian Knoerzer to Present a ‘Silent Session’ on LEED and WELL at the 2018 AIA Forum on Design + Architecture

Lily and Mike

The Lighting Practice’s Lillian Knoerzer and Michael Barber will be joining Jonathan Weiss, Director of Sustainability at Jacobs to present “Incorporating LEED and WELL on a New Research Facility,” one of the first “silent” format sessions the American Institute of Architects (AIA) Philadelphia has held during the Forum on Architecture + Design.

Lily, Michael, and Jonathan will be speaking in the Expo Hall at BOK as audience members listen through headphones. The presentation will address how the inclusion of LEED version 4 and the WELL Building Standard impacted the design of a new research facility in South San Francisco. This session will focus on architectural design, materials, and lighting as three of the major components in LEED and WELL. Lily and Michael will be concentrating their discussion on the WELL aspect of the topic.
