The Lighting Practice is always looking for ways to improve design and businesses processes to benefit our clients. Likewise, we strive to promote design education and leadership development within our firm and our field. That’s why we’re delighted that Maria Capriglione, Controller, is a finalist in the 2018 Find the Lost Dollars ™ Client Awards category, The Individual Professional who has Found the Most Dollars. The Lighting Practice is also a finalist in the category, The Firm that has Found the Most Dollar.
AEC Business Solutions designed the Find the Lost Dollars Client Awards to recognize their clients who have realized the greatest financial impact, culture change and individual performance improvement after completing the Find the Lost Dollars Training Program. This program enables A/E/C firms to improve financial performance and differentiate their value by using careful management of scope and budget to save their clients’ money.
After completing the program, our team streamlined several internal processes involving billing and timesheets, allowing employees to spend more time focusing on their clients and billable work. TLP is also using a CRM system to further streamline the client and opportunity tracking process.
Inspired by the Find the Lost Dollars program, Maria Capriglione implemented positive change for herself, the company, and our clients. Maria has spearheaded many of the cultural changes in the office surrounding TLP’s approach to tracking time, billing, and fully utilizing our accounting software to improve processes, cut down on duplication, and save time and money.
