Michael Barber, Principal of The Lighting Practice, will discuss the importance of integrating corporate interiors and lighting design in the modern office environment. Improvements to technology have changed the way the workforce interacts with each other and their environment. These changes have forced companies to evolve and to reevaluate the functionality and layout of their work space. The modern office is flexible and fosters collaboration and community. Michael Barber will discuss the benefits of early and frequent collaboration as well as the challenges with creating sustainable lighting designs in today’s office environment.
