Rebecca Mintz Named in PWC New York’s 20 Under 40

The Lighting Practice is thrilled to announce that Associate Rebecca Mintz has been recognized in the 2022 class of Professional Women in Construction (PWC) New York Chapter’s 20 Under 40. This award recognizes women who have made contributions and furthered the position of women in the New York area construction industry.

Rebecca Mintz, LC, Assoc. IALD, LEED AP BD+C, WELL AP, is an Associate with The Lighting Practice and an outstanding educator, award-winning designer, and an emerging industry leader to watch within the AEC industry-at-large. Rebecca is driven, community conscious, and future-focused. Whether working on internal firm process improvements or collaborating with a project design team, Rebecca balances creativity with the technicality and business acumen needed to thrive in this industry.

Since joining The Lighting Practice, Rebecca has become an integral part of the leadership team, mentoring fellow designers as an internal design team captain, re-examining and modernizing the firm’s use of BIM technology to align with our clients’ needs, and supporting equitable and inclusive business practices as a member of the DEI Task Force. She has successfully made these improvements and provided leadership, while cross-collaborating between The Lighting Practice’s multiple offices.
