The Park at Penn’s Landing, also known as the I95 CAP project, is a complex multi-discipline project that began with a master plan in 2011 by the Delaware River Waterfront Corporation (DRWC), a non-profit tasked with the design, development operations, and programming of six miles of Philadelphia’s waterfront. The project encompasses the renovation of the existing Penn Landing Plaza area and “capping” I95 and Columbus Blvd opening up unobstructed access from the city to the waterfront. enhance urban connectivity and transportation infrastructure in Philadelphia. By improving access routes and integrating different parts of the city, the project aims to support economic development and improve the overall quality of life for residents. The round table discussion will engage several designers who contributed to the goals of this project as well as the design aspects.
We look forward to seeing you there and participating in the discussion around connecting communities!
