Lighting Designer I

Alina Wolf joined The Lighting Practice in 2017. Her prior experience was primarily in the museum sector, where she gained valuable project management, space planning, and design skills. Alina’s pursuit of lighting design as a profession stemmed from her interest in lighting’s balance of simplicity and complexity as well as its artistic and scientific qualities. Since joining TLP, Alina’s project experience has grown to include education, retail and hospitality environments.

What is the best thing about your job?
I enjoy the highly collaborative atmosphere at The Lighting Practice. Plus, TLP is greatly invested in educating its lighting designers.

What is your dream project?
My dream project would be to design a museum exhibition.

Who are your heroes and why?
My heroes are my parents. My dad is the hardest working, most dedicated person I know and my mom has always been there to support me.

What’s the most interesting thing about you that we wouldn’t learn from your resume alone?
I spent 10 days in Israel traveling around the country.
