Lighting Designer

Taleen Streeter joined The Lighting Practice in 2018. She previously worked internationally as a lighting designer in Dubai, UAE on prestigious architectural projects throughout Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. It was in Dubai that she gained experience in the lighting design field and became inspired by how light can enhance a space, create drama, and shape architectural elements in various ways. Since joining TLP, Taleen has worked on projects spanning corporate, academic, façade, retail, commercial, hospitality, liturgical, and residential sectors.

What is your personal mission statement?
Nothing is impossible.

What is your dream project?
I’ve actually worked on my dream project, as a Lighting Designer in Dubai one of my very first projects was at The Burj Al Arab Hotel in Dubai, UAE. The worlds only seven-star hotel.

What’s the most interesting thing about you that we wouldn’t learn from your resume alone?
I’m Armenian and English, bilingual, and I love to travel! I’ve lived in four countries, been to 4 continents and traveled quite a bit, always eager to explore new places I haven’t been before!

What/where is your ideal vacation?
Dubai or the Maldives!
