230 Park Avenue Façade Lighting

Monday Properties asked TLP to provide a new nighttime identity for their historically-landmarked flagship property at 230 Park Avenue. We were asked to illuminate the building from the sidewalk up to the top of the cupola on the north side (nearly 40 stories) and to wrap the lighting treatment around the east, south and west sides above its 16-story wings. TLP used a color-changing system to give the building’s historic forms and proportions a lively nighttime appearance.

The LED lighting system lets us introduce colors and dynamic changes that add to the enjoyment of viewing the building, creating an iconic destination experience for New York City. Recently the property was sold to RXR Realty. TLP continues to provide programming services for the system.
