Fanatics Sportsbook Columbus is a retail sportsbook located adjacent to the Nationwide Arena, featuring a branded bar and sports betting venue. On-site facilities include four betting windows, 14 self-service betting kiosks, an LED video wall and 20 TV monitors. Becoming a hub for customers to place bets on a range of sports such as football, baseball, basketball, and hockey.
The space underwent a full renovation to appropriately serve the needs of Fanatics Sportsbook. The Lighting Practice was tasked with designing the space in a way that enhances the brand and provides economical and flexible lighting. The lighting provided visual wayfinding cues to guide customers through the space. The betting counter required more illumination to visually draw customers to it and provide a space to make safe transactions. Track lighting was implemented throughout the space to allow for flexibility to move or aim the lights in different directions. The result is a sports better’s heaven, illuminated to allow for a seamless experience.
