The Galleria Office Towers, a trio of multi-tenant buildings in Dallas, TX, recently underwent a revitalization aimed at elevating the arrival experience. The client envisioned a beautiful, welcoming entryway, and the design team delivered just that. Upon arrival, visitors are greeted by a reimagined landscape featuring central islands filled with flowing reed grass. To complement and highlight this natural element, the designers selected a lighting solution that echoes its organic form: slender, free-flowing light fixtures mounted on stems. These lights blend seamlessly into the reed grass during the day and create a memorable, glowing effect at night.
New entry canopies were added to each tower to provide shelter from the elements with a mix of opaque and translucent panels, requiring a coordinated approach between the lighting designers and the architect. Implementing custom, rain-rated downlights to be integrated within the glass panels, casting a soft, even glow. To further enhance safety and ambiance, security bollards were strategically placed for both illumination and visibility. TLP also collaborated with the landscape architect to light pathways, trees, and benches, ensuring a cohesive, inviting environment from arrival to entry. These thoughtfully lit outdoor areas offer tenants a comfortable oasis, day or night.
