LDS Philadelphia Temple

Philadelphia, PA

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Temple has joined the historic buildings and museums lining Philadelphia’s Benjamin Franklin Parkway. The LDS Philadelphia Temple is the first built in Pennsylvania. The Lighting Practice was engaged by the architects to provide interior and exterior lighting design for all spaces including the temple’s sanctuary areas. TLP’s facade lighting design – executed in dimmable white LED – draws inspiration from the architectural heritage displayed along the Parkway. TLP’s interior lighting treatments also enhance the reverential nature of this spiritual center. All lighting systems are carefully integrated into the architectural design to create a seamless visual experience.
