Ryan Conover, EDAC, Design IALD is featured in the latest issue of Healthcare Design Magazine in an article titled “Illuminating Expectations.” The piece highlights the growing recognition of how lighting impacts human health and explores the expanding role of human-centric lighting in healthcare environments.
“The Lighting Practice (Philadelphia, Pa.) agrees that more clients are requesting advanced lighting systems in both new-build and hospital renovation projects. “We find ourselves educating clients about circadian lighting strategies and how it’s one component of the larger human-centric lighting framework,” he says. “HCL is an all-encompassing concept for how we can provide the best lighting design that supports patients, staff, and visitors.”
