Annie Krause joined The Lighting Practice as Accounting Coordinator in 2018, and in 2022 was promoted to AP AR Manager and Office Manager. Working closely with TLP’s Controller and Principals, Annie’s responsibilities include accounting, project database management, human resources support, and office management. She uses her degree in Health & Human Services Management to provide the top-notch organization TLP needs to run like clockwork.
What is your favorite thing about working in Philadelphia?
Philadelphia has it all – historic neighborhoods, parks, river trails, gardens, wineries, public transportation (reduces pollution levels) and the “Philly attitude”.
What is your personal mission statement?
I believe that success comes from within and that my attitude determines how successful I will be. I confront challenges head on and don’t shy away from taking responsibility for my actions.
What is your favorite aspect of light?
Its impact on the senses and how it can stimulate/affect your perception. It can transform spaces, altering the way we feel in those spaces.
What is your ideal vacation?
In the Caribbean – all-inclusive, unplugged (without a phone/internet) and action-packed! I enjoy immersing myself in any paradise where I can explore and connect with nature.
