The Lighting Practice welcomes Hyesoo Chun and Camryn Andre to the team!
The key to The Lighting Practice’s legacy of excellence is its talented team of lighting designers. These professionals combine their ideas, knowledge, and talents to transform ordinary spaces into captivating and memorable places. TLP’s design team is growing; the firm recently hired Camryn and Hyesoo to support our growing firm.
Camryn joined The Lighting Practice in 2025 as a Designer after earning her Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from Indiana University – Bloomington. Her passion for lighting began in her first college course, sparking a career path that allows her to merge creativity and technical expertise. Camryn sees lighting as a powerful tool to transform spaces and enrich human experiences. She is inspired by the ever-evolving nature of the field, with new products, technologies, and ideas constantly shaping design. Outside of work, Camryn enjoys exploring new places, expressing her creativity through arts and crafts, and spending quality time with family and friends.
Hyesoo Chun joined The Lighting Practice in 2025 as a Lighting Designer I after receiving her Master of Fine Arts in Lighting Design from Parsons – The New School, where she received an Illuminating Engineering Society (IES) award for her thesis. Prior to attending Parsons, Hyesoo worked as an interior designer, where she became more aware of how light shapes the way a spaces is experienced. She became fascinated by how light renders everyday life and wanted to contribute to the moments that light makes special.
