article about Lit Brothers Building

Philadelphia’s Lit Brothers Building was recently featured in German magazine LICHT. The article commends The Lighting Practice for its artful lighting design that highlights the building’s façade, classical arch windows and other historical features.

An LED lighting system with color-changing capability features the fine details of the exterior while embracing the elegant architecture. TLP’s design incorporates low-profile and adjustable brackets beneath each sill and additional LED uplighting mounted to existing brackets, creating vertical columns of light along the façade.

“The attractive façade lighting is the result of a constructive collaboration between the architect, lighting designers and the historical committee of the City of Philadelphia in every planning phase. The luminaires are energy-efficient, weather-resistant and low-maintenance, and can be used in various ways. TLP’s lighting with different colors and sequences creates mood and atmosphere while maintaining the historical building character.”
