Meet Our Newest Team Members

A key element of TLP’s success is our ability to find and recruit talented team members with a variety of experience and expertise.  We are pleased to introduce the newest team members, David Seok, Erin McCauley, and Nick Ferry.

David J. Seok – Lighting Designer
David joined The Lighting Practice in 2014.  Prior to joining TLP, he worked as a lighting designer for another Philadelphia area lighting design firm.  David was inspired to enter the world of lighting design through his position with the Philadelphia Center for Architecture.  His previous project experience focused on corporate interiors.

Erin M McCauleyLighting Designer
Erin joined The Lighting Practice in 2014.  She was initially drawn to lighting because it encompasses engineering, architecture and design.  Prior to joining TLP, she was an in-house lighting designer for a prominent Philadelphia architectural firm.  Erin’s project work includes healthcare, university, and corporate environments.  Her background in the fine arts and love of architecture and nature are strong influences in Erin’s approach to lighting design.  She believes in the lasting impact that lighting can have on an environment and its ability to promote positive feelings of comfort and belonging.

Nick A. FerryLighting Designer
Nick joined The Lighting Practice in 2014.  After graduation from Drexel University in 2012, he joined a local architectural design office.  Through this experience Nick began to become more aware of the connection between architecture and lighting as a complement to the architectural forms.  This realization led him to want to explore the interrelationship between lighting and architecture.  Nick’s love of history specifically in architecture and how it connects to a city is a major design influence.
