The Lighting Practice is proud to be listed on the award with our project team members:

This award recognizes a project completed within the past three years that has had a measurable economic impact on the Greater Philadelphia region.  75% of the project team must be located within the region and 25% of the project team support CREW Philadelphia through employee membership or sponsorship.

The Philadelphia Zoo’s Centennial District Intermodal Transportation Center opened in April 2013.  The Philadelphia Zoo wanted to improve their visitors’ arrival experience. TLP was part of the design team tasked to design the new 4-story 683-space parking garage and rework current traffic patterns/traffic signaling to relieve the congested intersections surrounding the Philadelphia Zoo.  The project also included sustainable landscaping and improvements to streetscape lighting. These changes not only improve traffic flow and parking issues, they also enhance pedestrian and vehicle safety.
