Set on the vibrant New York City streets off Herald Square and Greeley Square, 111 West 33rd Street has been transformed into a contemplative oasis of calm for its tenants and visitors. The Lighting Practice was included in the design program from the beginning, tasked to illuminate the completely reimagined lobby with subtle and engaging lighting. Programmable RGBW LED fixtures can be programmed for thousands of combinations, and now play several scenes throughout the day depending upon time of day and flow in the lobby. Discreet recessed downlighting and indirect cove fixtures create flow and provide soft illumination of the architectural forms while preventing visual glare.
