Shedding new light on The Lighting Practice’s formally established system installed in 2004, the new system offers a longer lasting lighting solution. The new lighting system dramatically enhances the visual appeal of City Hall at night with 222 LED fixtures offering multiple color options for special occasions. This energy-efficient system allows City Hall to reflect the community spirit, illuminating the colors of Philadelphia sports team or holidays. The lighting systems are installed on ten surrounding buildings, with glare shields for precise aiming on all four sides of City Hall. The result is a visually appealing iconic Philadelphia landmark, glowing brighter than ever before.
