Dorrance H. Hamilton Rooftop Garden at the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts
The Hamilton Garden is a venue for gatherings of all sorts: press conferences, family celebrations, society galas and professional development meetings. The Lighting Practice’s lighting design provides appropriate presets for all those needs, and its color-changing ceiling lighting gives the Garden a special nighttime identity. General lighting is provided by an adjustable halogen system controlled by multi-channel preset dimming system. DMX controllers branched off the main system provide sequence control for the RGB LED system that lights the glass ceiling and program access to automated moving lights for special effects. The system also has inputs for a third-party show controller if live control is needed.
