This 4,000 square-foot private residence in Philadelphia’s Rittenhouse Square neighborhood involved many custom design components. The client needed a versatile lighting solution to highlight artwork and natural materials while fostering an ambiance suitable for both entertaining and daily living. The Lighting Practice tailored the lighting design to meet these needs, employing color-tunable recessed wall wash and adjustable accent lighting in common areas, and warm dim fixtures in private spaces, like the wine room and bedrooms. Low-profile LED cove lighting provides additional layers of light and to showcase feature art pieces. The result is a sophisticated, dynamic lighting scheme that enhances the architectural elements and creates a welcoming atmosphere throughout the residence.
