Texas Health Huguley’s new six-story, 233,000 SF patient tower is a campus extension that brings state-of- the-art technology to the region. The Lighting Practice worked closely with the interiors group to create public spaces that are soft, warm and inviting but with a modern feel. Decorative lighting elements were chosen for their simplicity in form, and recessed lighting was minimized to keep spaces feeling clean. LED technology was implemented throughout the building to take advantage of both energy savings and dimming opportunities.
TLP worked extensively with the architecture team on exterior façade lighting concepts. Vertical light pockets are designed to keep light sources hidden, and color-changing wash lights are used along the top brow to ensure the Texas Health brand color is accurately replicated.
