The Lighting Practice is thrilled to announce the promotion of Ryan Conover, Pomme Lee, and Darcy Veneziale to Associate. All have shown their commitment and dedication to our team, design excellence, and our clients.
Ryan Conover, EDAC, Associate IALD – Associate | Light + Health
Ryan began his career with The Lighting Practice in 2011 as an entry-level lighting designer. He has since designed lighting for multiple award-winning projects, earned his EDAC certification for evidence-based design, and taught as an adjunct instructor at the College of Architecture and Environmental Design at Kent State University. Ryan is committed to expanding his own knowledge and understanding of the impact of electric light on human wellbeing and health. As an Associate he will be leading the Light + Health Group‘s design and research efforts. Ryan will also mentor members of TLP’s team, helping them discover and pursue their passions within the lighting design and AEC industry.
“Coming out of the pandemic, our health and well-being is more important than ever,” observes Ryan. “I’m excited to be a firm leader and spearhead Light + Health at The Lighting Practice. I’m also eager to lead work process improvements, expanding internal efficiencies and collaboration with our clients.”
Pomme Lee, LEED AP – Associate | Team Performance
Pomme is a multi-faceted award-winning designer with over a decade of experience in the lighting and AEC industry. Her dual architecture and engineering degrees as well as her LEED Accredited Professional designation provide Pomme with a unique skillset and understanding of the design process from conception through to construction. As an Associate, Pomme will take her understanding of how to manage a successful project team and apply it to managing the firm as a whole. She will work closely with the firm’s leadership and designers to manage project workflow, team structure, and overall team performance.

Darcy Veneziale, CPSM – Associate | Business Development Manager
Darcy has been with The Lighting Practice for 9 years in the role of Marketing Coordinator and then Marketing Manager. While with TLP, she championed several marketing initiatives for the firm including a website redesign, credential updates, video lighting lesson series featuring her talented colleagues, and multiple award-winning social media campaigns. In her new role, Darcy will apply her creativity to enhancing TLP’s client and design partner relationships. Darcy will continue to work closely with firm leadership, supporting business development efforts for both the New York and Philadelphia offices.
“I am excited and honored to represent The Lighting Practice in a business development capacity,” shares Darcy. “I look forward to strengthening our relationships with current clients, developing new relationships, and growing the firm’s national presence.”
