Brandon Lester
Production Assistant
Brandon Lester joined The Lighting Practice in 2022 as Production Assistant. After graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Hospitality Management, he worked in many hospitality venues, where he learned the impact lighting design has on hospitality environments and how it affects people’s experiences in those spaces. As a Production Assistant, Brandon documents lighting layouts, elevations, selections and lighting details. In this position, he collaborates with project teams to establish documentation timelines, interprets design information and executes redline mark-ups, and more. When he is not supporting our lighting designers as Production Assistant, Brandon enjoys being outdoors, playing pool, sketching urban architecture and traveling.
What is your favorite thing about working Philadelphia?
Unique architecture and historical buildings.
If you had everyone over to your house for dinner, what would you prepare?
A big board of charcuterie, cheese and fruit to start. And the biggest bowl of spaghetti and meatballs with bottles if Chianti
