Senior Lighting Designer

Tara DiLenge rejoined The Lighting Practice in 2019 after previously leaving in 2006. She graduated from The Pennsylvania State University, which is where her fascination with lighting design grew. The AE program perfectly combines her love for science, math, and architecture. Lighting design is a natural fit for her as she can express her creativity while also influencing how people experience buildings. Tara’s project experience includes hospitality, retail, education, corporate, and residential environments.

Collaborating with talented design professionals and making architecture alive with light.

What is your dream project?
A residential masterpiece with an unlimited budget!

If you could go back in time, what wisdom would you pass on to your younger self?
Don’t worry about what others think of you, they probably aren’t thinking about you anyway!

You are a new addition to the crayon box. What color would you be and why?
Pink Peony – I just love how pink just brightens up the world and peonies are my favorite flower.
