Yu Tien Hsieh
Lighting Designer I
Yu Tien Hsieh joined The Lighting Practice in 2021 as Lighting Designer I after working for a construction company. She received her MFA from Parsons School of Design in 2020 with a double major in Lighting and Interior Design. Yu Tien was drawn to lighting design because she can study and embrace light from a more psychological perspective in a space. Since joining TLP, Yu Tien’s experience has grown to include multifamily building, exterior façade lighting and exterior landscape lighting. When she isn’t mastering the art of lighting design, Yu Tien enjoys visiting museums, getting inspired by performing arts and drinking a nice cup coffee.
