The University of Delaware Fintech building is part of the Science, Technology and Advanced Research Campus- STAR Campus. The Lighting Practice was tasked with designing a creative and cost-effective lighting solution for several spaces within the building including classrooms, laboratories, and conference rooms. A key aspect of this project was the assembly-style stairs, where students can gather, discuss, and host events. The assembly stairs required creative lighting that interacts with the architecture and creates visual interest to the space.
