Brian joined The Lighting Practice in 2022, and in 2024 he led the expansion of the firm’s Chicago office. His professional career began in Chicago where he spent six years practicing lighting design, before joining TLP. His return to Chicago has allowed him to reconnect with the city that shaped his career and personal life by immersing himself once again in its thriving design scene, contributing to its architectural landscape, and enjoying the sense of community that makes Chicago so special.
With a background in Interior Architecture and Psychology, he brings a unique perspective to lighting design. Recognized by Lighting Magazine’s 40under40 class of 2021 for his leadership in lighting design, he specializes in facade, historic renovation, and hospitality projects. With a commitment to innovation and excellence, Brian crafts transformative lighting solutions that elevate the built environment and enhance the user experience.

As Associate, Brian will uphold The Lighting Practice’s design and customer service standards while furthering the firm’s mission to take ordinary spaces and make them extraordinary. Brian’s talents have enhanced The Lighting Practice’s team and the lighting design community at large.
