Sagamore Spirit Distillery

Baltimore, MD

Sagamore Spirit’s 22,000 SF distillery building houses its production equipment including a 6,000-gallon cooker and nine fermentors. Next door, the 27,000 SF welcome and processing center provides guests with two tasting rooms. The Lighting Practice was tasked with creating an inviting experience that enhances the revitalization of rye whiskey distilling in Baltimore and the Sagamore brand. Interior and exterior accent lighting highlights the stills and brings life to the distillery while making the project site visible along the waterfront and I-95.

TLP developed the lighting system for the distillery and processing buildings including the exterior façade lighting, site lighting, and water tower lighting. Inside, the team illuminated the front of house and retail spaces, as well as the visitor center, whiskey stills, and the tasting rooms.
