Valley Health System’s Multi-Disciplinary Cardiology Center, located on the sixth and seventh floors of the north tower in the Valley Medical Arts Pavilion, is a state-of-the-art outpatient facility designed to streamline comprehensive cardiac care from diagnosis to treatment. By consolidating patient-care services from The Valley Hospital and other Valley Health System locations, the center prioritizes efficiency and personalized healthcare. This commitment forms the foundation of the client’s design ethos: to treat patients as guests.
Throughout the facility, the design emphasizes a personalized patient experience by making clinical spaces feel elevated and inviting, with purposeful details that enhance comfort and usability. Integrated lighting and architectural details provide visual interest and aid in intuitive wayfinding. Light fixtures, selected for their classic style and customizability, highlight architectural elements while reinforcing the center’s calming aesthetic. A warm, layered lighting palette throughout staff stations, public areas, and support spaces not only enhances visual appeal but also fosters a soothing and navigable environment for both patients and staff.
